Kansa Technology, LLC
Company History

Kansa was established as a small to mid-size manufacturer by three local gentlemen on February 28, 1977 when they purchased a product called a newspaper inserter from Didde Corporation. The three founders had been employees of Didde prior to forming Kansa. The company had good success with the product and began to add personnel and fabrication equipment. By the mid 80’s the company had added a second inserter with improved capabilities; acquired the designs for a padding machine; added feeder bases, quarterfolders, labelers and designed and patented the unique Kansa Quadracart.

In 1984 the company moved from its original location to a new 30,000 sq. ft. facility located at 3700 Oakes Drive, Emporia, Kansas. There have been two additions to this facility and Kansa still operates at this facility made up of approximately 63,800 square feet and continues to manufacture machinery from beginning metal fabrication (manufacturing@kansa.com).

In 2008, Kansa purchased Paragon Laser Systems and incorporated the stable machinery and laser marking concepts under its business umbrella. www.paragonlaser.com.
